The sports are fun. And they get intense. We know that from hosting them for over ten years. But the sports themselves are not the focus. The message is simple – beyond competition. It’s providing an opportunity to cultivate an encouraging, collaborative and good-spirited atmosphere through play – connecting people from all levels and background.
This sporting competition provides a learning avenue for teams to engage in healthy playing and bonding, at the same time raising their own standards of participation and forming new friendship. It builds a sense of common purpose and understanding through working together towards a team goal. And in the process, create a shared experience that last beyond the Games.
The Games atmosphere provides a glimpse of what an inspired corporate community can look like in a work environment. One that is robust and energised where every player puts in their best for the team, show mutual respect and are always challenging themselves to improve their performance.
